Shuttle transportation is offered by the hotel for ease and convenience and is based on availability.  For a nominal fee per guest, enjoy a quick trip to and from local transportation centers.  Advance reservations are required; please call (

DRIVING FROM THE WEST (VIA I-64)
​Take I-64 East. Take exit 286 B, Indian River Road, East. Go to the first traffic light, turn right into The Founders Inn and Spa entrance.


DRIVING FROM THE NORTH (VIA THE DEL MAR PENINSULA ON ROUTE 13)
Follow US Route 13, South, through Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia. Cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to Virginia Beach. Continue on US Route 13, South, to I-64. At the Lake Wright Motel, follow signs that say I-64, East (Chesapeake-Suffolk). Take I-64, East, to exit 286 B, Indian River Road, East. Go to the first traffic light, turn right into The Founders Inn and Spa entrance.


DRIVING FROM THE NORTH (VIA I-95)
Take I-95 South to I-295 in Richmond (I-295 is a bypass around Richmond) I-295 to I-64, East Take exit 286 B Indian River Road, East. Go to the first traffic light, turn right into The Founders Inn and Spa entrance.


DRIVING FROM THE SOUTHWEST
US 460 East through Petersburg and Suffolk to I-64 West. Take exit 286 B Indian River Road, East. Go to the first traffic light, turn right into The Founders Inn and Spa entrance.


DRIVING FROM THE SOUTH (VIA I-85)
Take I-85 North to Virginia At South Hill, Virginia, take US 58 East. Continue through Emporia, Franklin, and Suffolk to I-64 West. Take exit 286 B Indian River Road, East. Go to the first traffic light, turn right into The Founders Inn and Spa entrance.


DRIVING FROM THE SOUTH (VIA I-95)
Take I-95 North to Virginia At Emporia take US 58 East. Continue through Franklin and Suffolk to I-64 West. Take exit 286 B Indian River Road, East. Go to the first traffic light, turn right into The Founders Inn and Spa entrance.


FROM NORFOLK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Exit the Airport following the exit signs to I-64 East You are now on Norview Avenue. Follow the signs to I-64 East (Chesapeake). Take exit #286 B Indian River Road, East. Turn Right at the first traffic light and The Founders Inn and Spa is straight ahead.
